Why we make it: I created this juice for a client living with a severe autoimmune condition. He came in constantly for ginger, and as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, I knew he also needed greens in his diet. So I formulated a juice with the same medicinal amount of ginger he was already taking, and built the greens around it. He never thought he would drink a green juice, but the ginger made it possible, and it became part of his routine. Every drink we make is for the people behind it, and this one reminds me of him every time it goes out.
Why it matters: Ginger supports the immune system and a healthy inflammatory response. Bok choy and celery alkalize the body and deliver vitamins and minerals, aloe soothes the digestive system, and lemon brightens and alkalizes. St. Francis Herb Farm Deep Immune drops round out the formula.
What's inside: Organic bok choy, celery, aloe, ginger and lemon, with Deep Immune drops from St. Francis Herb Farm. The ginger is deliberately high. This is a juice made for benefit rather than taste, so expect it to be strong.
How to enjoy it: Ideally, drink it daily when you want both immune support and more greens in your diet. But honestly, consistency matters more than timing.
